Hello Everyone,
I know this is a more general place to post, but I figure it's best to give it a shot because I haven't been able to find a definitive answer anywhere else online. If this if this isn't a good place to ask, just let me know!
I am trying to get my Casio Privia PX-160 to work with Finale 25 on Windows 10. It recognizes my device, but it does not let me input any notes using the Speedy Entry tool. I am aware that the device has some issues due to the implementation of a new HD MIDI technology which sends an additional controller message on CC#88. The Finale site says that there are no workarounds, but staffers on the site have indicated that two programs can be used to solve the problem on Mac: MidiPipe and Subtlesoft. I read somewhere that there is a PC driver fix, but it appears to not be the case. I heard MIDIOX could possibly work too. If any of you have some input on how to make it work, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance,
Nick
