So I have really small hands (my friends make fun of them because I'm literally the shortest girl with the smallest hands in my class) and wear braces (and will continue wearing them for about another year) but I've been considering playing an instrument in my school band again. I used to play for the band a few years ago, but it was the xylophone, and I want something a little bit more challenging now. The only instruments I like besides the xylphone are the clarinet, the flute and the oboe. I would love to play one of these, but considering it'll be my first time playing a woodwind instrument (besides the recorder in elementary school, which I hated lol) the fact that I have small hands and wear braces, and also that I'm not exactly a young learner since I'm 16, which of the three instruments would you recommend me? Or would you recommend me playing one these instruments at all? I know maybe I shouldn't play a woodwind considering my conditions, but I really love the woodwind section and would love to play with them someday. Like I said, those are literally the only instruments of my school's band that I like besides the xylophone.
