Any tips? Like anything at all would be great. Right now I have 2 musician Facebook pages and 2 soundclouds, 1 of each for rap and 1 of each for EDM. I have a pretty good amount of content on both. People say I'm a great rapper and I love doing it but I dont have as consistent of an interest in it as I do with EDM so my rap stuff is kind of abandoned from updates for now. I have 10 followers on my rap SC and 8 on my EDM one, and even less on my EDM Facebook page. My EDM SoundCloud has random shit on there, anything from 30 second drops to full tracks, and I made an EP (if you could call it that) of 5 tracks as kind of a sample playlist for people. I occasionally get obviously bait messages from people saying "hey I love your track ______ message me back and I'll repost it toy thousands of followers" or some stuff like that that I'm 95% sure is a bunch of bullshit.
I think my content is decent. Nowhere near professional, but it's not like I just started doing this production stuff yesterday. I just feel like it at least deserves like, idk, at least 20 followers lol
Sorry for droning on, it's just important to me. I love doing this, my day-to-day fully revolves around learning the craft. I just want to be able to get enough ears onto my stuff to give me an idea of where to go, what to improve, or if I should even be doing it at all. I'm not going to post my links here unless someone wants to PM me. This sub and the help of all you guys and gals is the reason I still chase that dream/career, so I'm not about to take a chance in breaking the rules and disrespecting this community.
So yeah. tl;dr is pretty much the title. Thanks to anyone interested in giving me some tips!
