This might be a really newbie question but could anyone recommend any good guides / youtube videos to identify different sound types and their most prominent features ?
I've heard of my other fellow friends using terms as of things like Saws, Supersaws, Arps, Plucks, but never really got about to how they're created and how most of their sounds would be like so would just like to ask out there.
I chose a sample song which I felt like had sounds I really liked (pardon me if it isn't within anyone's taste) https://soundcloud.com/5u5h1/hologram
I wanted to know the types of sounds before I kind of delve deeper into creating each and every one of them :')
A - The starting melody from 0:00 to 0:12
B - The chords at 2:02 to 2:24
C - The lead that then follows in at 2:26
D - That short dreamy background melody that comes in from 2:35 to 2:37
Thank you guys so much for your help !
