I've finished my first song that I'm proud of after a lot of time (about 100hrs of work), and I'm not sure what to do now. I want to send it out to labels to get some feedback but I don't know anything about the business and am having a hard time finding smaller labels that would fit my music. (I'm producing tropical/melodic house)
Should I just forget about it and keep creating new songs? Send it out to small youtube channels/labels? Is there any point in trying to contact the huge labels like Universal at any point?
I would be really grateful if anyone with more experience than me in this regard would be willing to help me out. For example I could send you my track to get your assessment if it is even close enough to the quality that labels are expecting these days. Thanks.
