Hi, I am new to making music/beats/tracks and am just seeking some advice on some things that I have ran into. My questions are

Is it easier to start out making your own beats, or remixing songs first

How do you stay focused on a piece? I will get frustrated with working on a small bit for more than 40-50 minutes, and get discouraged to finish it. Do any of you take breaks or work through it?
