I read a post a few weeks ago and I noticed it got a lot of hate on snaps, not trying to start a flame war, just looking for opinions.
I use them occasionally when I don't have a drum beat behind it, but once I throw in a kick and/or hi hats, I prefer snare.
What do you guys think?
