Hey! Just wanted to know what other people do in terms of rendering for Soundcloud uploads!
So what I know is that (probably wrong don't bite me) SC has its own processing algorithm for their uploads so even though you upload it in MP3 (which I see a lot of people do), it will still process it, thus, resulting in even lower (lossier) quality audio. So as far as I know, uploading lossless (ex. WAV) is the best. And also keeping the True Peak under 1.0 dBTP is the best if you wanna avoid those weird high end clips that you sometimes get from Inter Sample Peakings!
These are pretty much all I am aware of and I process/master (yes I master my own tracks) my tracks with these things in mind! How do you guys approach this topic?
