I thought I'd share this, as I haven't seen it mentioned around here, but I just found a free gameboy instrument for Kontakt. It's called Super Audio Boy and it looks like it's excerpted from one of the developers larger 8 bit libraries. But, hey, it's free so kudos to them.
I had a muck around with it and it's good fun. I suspect that, with a bit of processing and mangling, I could create some fairly gruesome chipglitch or get a bit of a Crystal Castles thing going on. I imagine a lot of the community around here could do more interesting things with it than I, so thought I'd bring it to everyone's attention.
I haven't linked as I am not sure of the policy, and it's not my job to do their marketing for them, but easily findable via Google.
Anyway, really nice to find a free instrument that is both quirky and well made. Kudos to the devs for making it available.
