I was watching the deadmau5 masterclass, and I learned he said that he does not listen to his monitors above 85db for mixing. Out of curiosity I wanted to see how loud that was in my studio. Then I realized, I have absolutely no idea how to measure my OUT signal level. All my metering reads RMS. How exactly can I read how loud im pushing out. I swear I might just be a moron right now.
