Hey,
This may sound a bit weird, but I'm curious if anyone has ever orchestrated, or heard of someone orchestrating a piece with the left hand playing a different scale than the right hand?
I know it sounds really convoluted considering how far off I may be with the terminology, but let's say I have an idea that I have decided to compose in C Minor. All of the notes/chords I play with my right hand are rooted in the C Minor scale, but the accommodating notes/chords I play may be in C Major. I just thought this up and haven't had a chance to try it and see how it may sound, but I'm curious if anyone here has done anything like that.
