If you have zero production ability, the best way into making music is experimentation. Lower your standards until you have none, and make a truly weird piece of music that goes beyond criticism. In a decade you'll gain the production knowledge to make top40 ready tracks, but instead of having a back catalog of shoddy imitations, you'll have a backlog of difficult and boundary pushing works.
