I'm trying to create an EDM lead and watched a bunch of tutorials on layering. And it seems like a lot of producers use supersaws. I'm wondering if anyone knows whether super saws are better as the main part of the layer or whether they're just there to thicken a pre-existing synth, i.e. whats the point of supersaws.
