So I have an input signal which is my synth chords on one track, and I have automated the volume of that track with Xfer's LFOTool that is triggered by MIDI notes on a separate track. The way I automated the volume was by sending the input signal to a BUS and then sidechaining the LFOTool to that BUS. Both the BUS and the input signal have been switched to no output so the output signal is coming from the bus containing the LFOTool automation.
This system works perfectly when the LFOTool trigger track (which triggers the volume automation for the input signal) is laid perfectly underneath input track (the synth chords). However, when I try to bounce the tracks to a single audio file with the volume automation effects the effects are completely bypassed and it sounds just as though the synth chords were playing by themselves without the LFOTool.
I have spent hours trying to figure out the issue and even contacted Xfer but they haven't responded in over a week so I decided to ask the members of the edmproduction community to see if any you have run into this issue yourselves or have figured it out :).
