Hi. I recently purchased some studio monitors (JBL LSR 305's), and an Audio Interface (Focusrite 2i2). I never experienced this problem before when I was purely using ASIO4ALL audio drivers. So I hooked all of my equipment up, configured the audio drivers in Ableton so that it's using the Focusrite driver, and it appears that when I launch an instance of Serum in a blank project, or even an existing project, my CPU load meter goes up like crazy and I start experiencing crackles and weird distortion sounds. Why is this happening? I have an i5 4690k. I don't think my CPU is the source of the problem.. Could I have fucked something up in the Ableton config settings? I have a screenshot here. Thank you to anyone who can help me resolve this..
Edit: I increased the "buffer size" to 512, and it seems like it helped? Could that have been the problem?
