Hello Everyone,
Im seeking a solution to a common problem, however i have yet to find answer that fit my specific situation.
Recently just bought an Asus UX501V ( https://www.asus.com/us/Notebooks/ASUS-ZenBook-Pro-UX501VW/specifications/ ) ive installed ableton and other vsts i have such as serum. Now that i have my programs installed I am getting alot of crackling/popping sounds while playing ableton. It tends to happen much more as I bring the master volume on the laptop over 80%. The PC came with realtek hd audio driver.. which is the only think i can think is the problem. i ave also tested using an external sound card, which i didnt experience the problem, however i really want to fix the onboard problem.
So far, i have checked everywhere and attempted the following solutions...
Updated the realtek driver, updated chipset, updated BIOS, I have disabled wifi, and tested disabling many other devices to see if they were causing latency however nothing worked. Power settings for processors are at 100%. Ive run latencymon, it couldnt specify anything in particular causing latency...
Its a brand new computer, which i bought for using in ableton. Im quite frustrated with this issue, if anyone has an ideas please let me know.
