I'm really keen on learning from and imparting my own experience and info within the collective - so I guess I'll now elaborate on why I'm writing to you.
Although everyone in this sub would possess many similarities and differences, the one thing I'd say we all share would be music - in one form or the other.
The first time I recall music really resonating with myself was when I was 10 watching my brothers play counterstrike source with astrix's artcore album in the background.
I was completely oblivious of psytrance's existence - poison and closer to heaven still remain some of my favourite tracks to this day.
A few years later I started rhyming in cyphas with my mates which progressed to a more introspective aspect while writing lyrics/raps and exploring unique instrumentals.
It's been six years and I've accumulated a nice variety of tracks, although until recently I'd not given much serious thought as to how they're actually made..
I'd listen to some powerful infected mushroom and be blasted through expansive labyrinths, or be rapping over a dj premier beat and it'd just be a kind of mystery

momentarily pause for it to be met with mutual reciprocation
So I looked into it and quickly found lots on drum machines and DAWs - my stepfather owns a studio so some terminology I used to hear on occasion was starting to paint a picture
this was interesting, so since I lack the funds for a pc I found a few alternative apps for phone - it took some time to adjust to the ui, even longer to discern between the software - ended up happily scrapping FL mobile for Caustic 3
Since then I've been involving myself with a local studio, learning music theory and thoroughly enjoying piecing components, organising tracks and sampling - there's still much to learn to be able to fluently convey myself through music ✌
