I learned how to touch type using keybr .com and I really liked the technique it used to help someone memorize the positions of all the keys on a computer keyboard. The technique was to start with a few letters, then when you can quickly press those letters it will add another letter, when you get good it adds another letter and so on until you can type with all fingers.
It would be nice to have something just like that but for the learning the grand staff where the software slowly introduces another note on the staff once you become comfortable with them.
I don't want to end up correlating each note on the staff to a key on the piano without knowing the name of the note and I don't want to end up correlating each note on the staff to a button position on my screen, I want to correlate each note to a letter. To do this I was thinking it would be best to have voice recognition so that when it displays a note on the staff it will prompt for you to actually say the note on the staff out loud.
I do computer programming as a hobby so I could make something to do this but was wondering if something like this already exists so I don't have to spend time creating it.
