Hi,
I'm a complete newbie with music, I want to pick up an instrument and I'm hesitating between piano and drums. What motivated me for drums was watching the movie Whiplash which was really good (plus I really some drum solos in jazz tracks), as for piano I read it really helps you to learn music theory and I like jazz piano.
I also want to be able to practice at home in addition to classes, I read there are some good digital pianos but what about digital drums? Are they good for practice?
