I've been learning how to read notes and working on memorizing the treble and bass staff. I've been learning each note individually for example I just see all of the staff as many individual lines and spaces where i'm memorizing each note individually. I was thinking that maybe I should memorize the notes on the staff as groupings from A to G with A starting on a line and then memorize it with A starting on a space, and then memorize the positions on all of the various types of staffs of where A starts and G ends and always see the music on the staff as groupings of 5 lines or 5 spaces (sometimes a letter will start on a space other times on a line). Does this this seem like a good way to memorize it?, seeing it visually as groupings of five lines or five spaces with different starting and ending positions or should I just memorize everything individually? I'm sorry if i'm not explaining this clearly it's kind of difficult to explain. I'm learning piano if that matters.
