Looking for some guidance on this one.
For years, I’ve been using a custom PC for my Production. No real issues, aside needed an upgrade for ease of running Diva/Omnisphere/Neutron and other CPU intensive plug-ins more frequently and smoothly.
I’m building a new studio, and budget allows for an iMac Pro. Prior to the PC, I’ve always used iMacs and currently a MacBook Pro for travel/live.
The intent behind an iMac Pro is to get something powerful, simple, minimal, and as future proof as possible.
Can I get some thoughts and guidance on why this is a bad idea, or a good idea?
