Hi, i am looking to purchase a midi keyboard with drum pads around a budget of $200. I can't possibly try them out here as they're not available in the shops in my city and I'll have to order it online. I short listed 2 keyboards (which cost identical) purely based on reviews i read on amazon.
-Nektar impact lx61 plus and -Novation launckey49 mk2
I am mainly going to use this for the purpose of making hip hop and trap music and would like something that has a study build quality (on the pads and keys both since i am a beginner and a little rough with the usage of my instruments)
I am confused as to which one to go for. My only frame of reference was the reviews so as per them, the two midi's are quite similar and despite having more pads the novation seemed like more of an effort while finger drumming than on the nektar. (i've not used either, this was an observation made based on youtube vids and i could be completely wrong here) what added more to the confusion was the option of purchasing a simple 49 key midi and a drum pad (like lpd8) separately. I'd honestly appreciate your help as i am quite clueless about the same.
The other keyboards i considered were M audio Oxygen 49 4th gen Arturia Keylab essentials Alesis V49
HELP! Thanks! :)
