I think for my basic sound design needs like basic plucks or super saws abletons wavetable does a really good job quickly with minimum cpu usage. I think I am going to keep using serum for more complex sound design such a sounds which require me to have complex modulation and drawn lfos. But as a basic wavetable synth it does the job well for basic sounds. For some reason too all the sounds in it sound a tad brighter than serum. Gonna need to practice it abit though I can’t get as nice sounding layered super saws in wavetable yet but I think as I get more used to it’s layout and sound it could be a real contender for my more basic sound design needs. What do you guys think?
