I can't get over how great and versatile this synth is. I've just come to love the sound and charm of it.
I've used Serum, Omnisphere, Trilian, Arturia Collection synths, Massive, and Reaktor... but the only one that's been used in every track since day one is Diva.
I don't see it talked about a lot here.
I was weary of the CPU usage at first, but I find it no worse than Serum on my machine. If I'm running 6-8 instances of Diva simultaneously my CPU usage will spike to around 70%, but very rarely does it cause playback issues.
I find Diva great for pretty much anything that benefits from an analog sound. Pads, leads, basses, motifs, synth perc, plucks... it's so versatile and the filters are the best I've heard on a soft synth.
The only time I switch to Omnisphere is if I need to make complex or organic sounds that benefit from a Rompler.
What are others thoughts on this VST?
