How do you go about making a name for yourself or avoid as much legal interference while using a moniker that other artists have used or up-and-coming artists pick up? I have a track coming out under a moniker which I did almost zero research on to see how many other musicians have used it before me. After trying to search for my information in google, I'm basically clouded/crushed by other artists under that name.
What should I do? Continue to go about it with the same name or should I take the loss and move onto a new one?
