So recently I decided to remix a song by a favorite artist of mine, and I am really proud of it, so I figured I could send it to the record label and hope they notice.(I don’t want to release it illegally, that’s a whole other problem I don’t want.) However I do know the remix wasn’t permitted before I did the work, so I am not entirely sure about that. Is it a good idea to still send it to the label?
