YO. Figured I'd give away some of my top tips & advice for production so sit back and soak up fellas.
-
Feedback knobs: these are a godsend, anytime I see them, I crank those babies all the way up - you can never have too much of a great thing.
-
EQ High Shelves: When I'm looking for tops, I need look no further than 4 +24db high shelves stacked up, giving your sound a whooping +96db boost - voila, tops.
-
Flanging: This is one of the big secrets to my sound - flanging at very high speeds with extremely high feedback - frankly there's little more to it than that.
-
Reverb: This is a bit obvious, but the secret to good reverb is full wet - full fucking wet all the time, on most sounds, very few exceptions - Wet is the rule here.
-
Compressing: One word - ratio. You NEED a 100:1 ratio every time. Period.
-
Delay: These are where the real magic happens. Stack as many delays as you want on top of each other and the sound will only get better, and better, and better. The sky is the limit with this technique.
Thanks for reading guys, and good luck! Let me know if anybody found these helpful.
