Hello Edmproduction.
I created multiple basses and grouped them in ableton. On the group I put a limiter to "glue" the basses together...pushing the loudest parts to a certain db so that it would mix with the quiet onces....inside The Fabfilter Pro-L it shows that all the basses are at the exact same level...but if i crank up the volume in ableton on a certain bass it is still able to increase in volume...even with a limiter pushing it down? How does this make sense at all...shouldnt a limiter "limit" the volume meaning that nothing can pass a certain db? As I said it stills shows that it is on the same db level but it's waaay louder..which makes me question the whole limiting thing.
