I'm just looking for a chart of sorts that lists the main fundamental elements a track should have. Partly for reference but also partly for nomenclature as I feel like I may be naming some things incorrectly.
So basically something that states :
Kick Snare Hat O hat Percussion Bass Lead Vocal pads FX ..........etc
What I'm looking to do is create a template and have a better understanding of what is what and to better name my parts so when I communicate with other producers I know what they are talking about... I guess? Any help is appreciated! This is mainly just so I can make sure I get the basic building blocks down for a track and obviously add more when needed. I was sort of just wondering if this is a standard or people just randomly add tracks to their songs and name them as they go along lol.. Thanks!
