I've got a few things about using a limiter I am somewhat unclear on. I understand basically how and what a limiter is used for (I think) but i need some more detailed descriptions like how much of gain reduction should I be looking at and or what different applications I should use a limiter with. Generally when I use a limiter on anything it is simply to cut out dB spikes and make sure I don't clip but I hear of people using a limiter to squash their master, allowing them to even out and turn everything up. Anyways long post short if anyone has any tips/tricks and details about the application of a limiter mastering or just on a plugin, I'd like to hear them. FL Stidios 12 Fabfilter Pro-L
