I know this is probably mostly personal preference but how do you all add in fx to your songs? Do you drop in samples that you already made or do you create them each time you make a track?
Specifically risers downlifters impacts drum rolls white noise risers ect...
And more specifically, do you have any techniques you use for making them sound like the follow the song very well. I can make some decent effects but at a basic level. For example taking a vocal and then having it rising in pitch for the build up I know is a good way to have it feel like it is naturally part of the song.
Please post any good resources you all have!
