Hello! I have been producing for about 2 years now and I always see people complaining about not having stems for a remix, or not being able to properly stem audio. In the entirety of those 2 years I have been isolating and stemming audio by means of phase inversion and other audacity included plugins. I never found a proper place to talk about this sort of stuff, it's not really that well known, so I decided to create a subreddit 100% dedicated to this. I feel as if this is beneficial to everybody because...
- 1. You learn more about how audio works.
- 2. You don't have to worry if an artist declines giving you stems for a remix.
- 3. You gain composition skills.
- 4. You learn how to create any sound you want through reverse engineering.
- 5. It's just plain fun!
I really hope you guys are interested in this, if you want to check it out, visit /r/Phase_Inversion , I'm sure we can create a great place for everyone to hone this skill. I will be posting packs pretty frequently so there's always new stuff if you're uninterested and just want to lurk.
