Hi EDM Producers, I'm in a strange situation with a well known electronic label and have 2 weeks to file a summons and complaint for personal damages, or offer an alternative option than legal prosecutions. I live in Washington state (Seattle) and working on the draft letter, as well as estimating my damages from injuries.
Do I need to file a summons and complaint in the label's registered country? Or are international labels required to have offices in each country they work in, so I could file something in WA and serve their company in Europe?
Thanks for any help and legal advice! I'm deciding to tackle this incident after years of rubbish and hopefully I can get some guidance from someone who has experience submitting files internationally.
