As the title was, I have been thinking about slowing down my guitar progress in favor of piano and just wanted some input.
Basically I have been slowly learning guitar for a little under a year and I really enjoy it. The guitar is super fun, tactile, and the amount of sounds you can make are great but I often feel like it is missing alot in some parts for me.
Guitar is fun but it's hard to keep fumbling through chords and notes alone just for the sound to be hollow. I guess I don't really enjoy how what I usually play is only part of a song.
Here is where i think I should focus on piano . It is a instrument with alot of versatility and transferable knowledge. It also can be played great alone of accompanied by other instruments. It would also help most likely with my main goal of making music and maybe working with digital music too. The only downside is that I guess it feels not as "fun" as guitar but they may be because I really have zero skills on it compared to guitar.
Bottom line is what do you guys think will help me long term for music creation right now.
Tl;Dr : I've played guitar for under a year now and want to focus on guitar or piano depending on which one would be more beneficial or align with my main goal of making music.
