I’ve had a lot of free time during the pandemic and bought a keyboard thinking I could teach myself to play. That was far from the truth. I’ve picked up a few basic things like scales and chords. But, I can tell I am just going around in circles. I’m in the process of looking for a teacher, but would anyone be kind enough to pass along some good tips, books, or anything of importance. I’m in my lower thirties, and never gave myself the chance to learn when I was younger. I really fell in love with classical music over the last year, and that inspired me to pursue learning how to play. Thanks to the kind souls who reply.
