In today's video I'm going to show you how to play "Good Morning Little School Girl" as recorded by Muddy Waters on guitar.
This is an old blues standard that was originally written by Sonny Boy Williamson. In the version recorded by Muddy Waters the chord progression and form of the song follow a 19-bar blues pattern.
There are many examples on my channel that will really help you in understanding and building a solid foundation with the 12-bar blues chord progression.
Once you feel comfortable with that and you really start to dive deep into the repertoire of the blues greats you will find that the 12-bar blues progression is just the beginning.
