Hey, I was interested for a while in learning music using programs such as FL Studio and such. I was always amazed and inspired by music I've heard in games (Indie especially) and I wanted to start making my own music like the composers behind games I love.
Some of these games are Hollow Knight, Undertale, Touhou, Celeste, Zelda games, Sonic games, Pokemon games, etc.
I have a few questions: 1. Do I need some kind of MIDI Keyboard? I know I can use these programs without using a keyboard, but I think it would make this whole process much easier and more serious. If I do need, which one should I get?
- Should I just go to a music school? I have one in my country that has dozens of courses. Each course is a few months long, so I wanted to know if that might be a better option.
I'm sorry if my description of learning and composing music sounds confusing, but this whole thing is also a little confusing to me, so I don't even know what to call it.
