My son has taken exactly one cello lesson and is still at the plucking and learning notes stage. His grandparents are coming tomorrow and he wants to learn a very short "song" for them. I'm thinking the first 5 words of "Mary had a little lamb" or "Twinkle twinkle little star" or something.
I can't find a short little thing like that he could play that sounds good that only uses 4 notes. I'm completely useless at music and so have no hope of composing anything. All the basic sheet music I can find is for piano and uses more than 4 notes.
Does anyone have a suggestion or resource for something like that?
