I’m a guitarist of >20 years. About 15 years ago, when I first started recording, I realized I had atrocious rhythm. I started training myself, eventually diving into the research of how skills are acquired. I developed the training program according to all the latest insights in cognitive psych and neuroscience, but it was only on paper.
This past year, as I dealt with unemployment and depression, I decided one thing I could do was to try to realize this project as fully as possible. I can’t code, so it’s all via YouTube. But it’s free, it worked for me, and I truly believe it can work for others. You can find it here.
The intro may seem super basic and the games may seem weird/easy at first, but if you stick with it, I know you’ll feel improvement, whatever level you’re starting at. The end result is a super-fine-tuned perception of time, with a side benefit of increased focus. I’m happy to answer any questions; just PM me. If it helps just one person, I’ll be happy.
