So last Thursday I released my new track and did some low-key promotion for it. Friday I got a message on Soundcloud from Pure Bass Music. message thread here.
Basically he asks if he can post my song on his "no copyright music" channel. At first I responded with interest, but never gave him explicit permission to do it cause I wanted to do a little research first.
Some weird things about his channel:
1) His videos all have an impressive amount of views in spite of his first upload being 2 days old.
2) The videos all have hundreds of the exact same comment from different accounts: the Hungarian word for "subscribers".
3) All his video titles start with the phrase [No Copyright Music], which seems weird to me.
4) I just discovered that he posted my song to his channel. I never gave him a file for it, somehow he just got it. Also I never actually gave him permission, just said I'm interested after his first message. Why would he do that?
He did put links to my pages in the video description, but it's all just so weird to me. I'm thinking of asking him to take it down cause it seems so fishy.

My song is "Iron Kids - Throwin' Shade"
What do yall think? This is all just super weird
