I have been producing now for over 5 years and just started to get serious about a year ago. I've been using these really crappy small, standard 90's computer monitors.
For the first time, I finally have the money to buy better studio monitors. I've been looking at the JBL LSR305's for a while now, and being that they are $285 on Amazon, I can't help but to have just the slightest bit of apprehension considering how expensive they are.
Bottom line is I just need to hear it from other fellow producers that these things are worth every penny. Are they really going to be a game changer for me? Perhaps there are better studio monitors for a better price? Any kind of opinion/suggestion would be helpful.
My biggest concern is getting them and being disappointed a week later. Thanks in advance!
