Hi, so, I'm sure this has been answered somewhere before but I've looked all over and can't find anything that has worked for me yet, so this is my last ditch effort. I've got a mixed and mastered track in FL Studio and the master says it's peaking its peeking at 0db. I'm under the impression that this is as high as it should go without it getting distorted. It also peaks around 7.5-8.5 LUFS (I don't know if this info is helpful) However, for the life of me, when I render and export the song it comes out much quieter than in FL. I've tried different render settings and nothing changes. I've tried blasting the volume way up on it just to see what would happen. It does gets louder, but as expected, it's distorted as all hell.
Is this still just an issue of my mix/master? If so, how can I fix this and why does FL say I'm peaking at 0db if it clearly comes out much quieter. Is this because I'm using .wav as opposed to something else? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
