I'm à beginner to edm production and while I can get the melody leads and sounds that I want, I'm struggling to go from my nice loop into an actual track.
There is tons of video about edm production, but I so far haven't find anything about the fundamentals of sounds structure, timing and thus on a technical level. Maybe I'm not searching the correct terms?
Of course it's always up to the artist but I'm looking something I can learn from and use as a base to structure the track so that it's not too dodgy.
Also it really depends of the type of edm, so actually if there is an article that also go in depth about the different styles on a technical level would very much be appreciated.
