Hey guys,
My pc has recently come into a couple of significant issues (not production related) and I've decided it's time to do a clean install of windows. The good news is that all of my production stuff (VSTs, samples, midi, projects, etc.) is located on a dedicated (non-OS) internal SSD and backed up to an external SSD.
My question is will I simply be able to reinstall my DAW (Live 9) after the restore and point it to the proper locations of the VST dll's, etc.? Or do I need to go through all of the "setup.exe" processes for each one (to get them into the registry, etc.)?
Additionally I'd like to avoid re-downloading and installing all of my NI Komplete plugins. Will I be able to install Native Access and point it to the location of my NI plugins or will I have to re-do that whole nightmare?
Thanks for any advice--want to make sure I make this as painless as possible :)
