I would like to make a song that a person could headbang to. Some artists that make this music might be Excision or Getter. I can make a pretty good dubstep song, but what makes a song 'heandbang-able'? Any tips? I know you really have to make your drums punch through and I've noticed that having basses that last 2+ beats help. But is there a tempo besides 140 that makes a song 'headbang-able'? Does bass choice matter? Are there certain rhythms that bring out the 1 and 3 beat? Thanks
