I live near full sail, and i dislike most producers from that school because they have crappy mixes but pay $25,000+ in tuition. -___-.
With that money you could have hired a mentor. I been making music since 2011, and i wished i had a mentor to teach me everything about theory, kick and bass relationship, mixing, mastering etc. Don't overlook mentorship, you can save alot of time.
Instead i put 7 years into this craft and im happy with the results, however, i could have gotten there sooner if i hired someone. I went to studios and owned a pair of audeze lcd x and i realize "its not the gear its your ear".
PM if your looking for someone to mix and master your music, i don't write music these days because its not my thing anymore, i just love the technical aspect. I have turned into a getyoursnackon
Anyway, anyone have any questions about making your tracks louder, im happy to answer. All the other pros feel free to chime in.
