I've heard that remaking songs is one of the best ways to learn your favorite producers techniques, and I can certainly vouch that I've learned a ton by doing so. I also know many of the most well-known producers today did this frequently early on.
One question I have for the community is if any of you have tips for doing so? Or strategies that work best for helping you achieve the desired outcome?
