I have recently entered a new era of production, realizing I need to listen to my criticism more carefully and make stuff that I see fit rather than a "specific genre". So I've decided to figure out techniques I like rather than genre, and one is heavy basses, whether as a bass line or for a fill. If possible, can anyone explain to me the context of designing one in serum, or rather the basis of designing one anywhere. I can create generic distorted basses in sylenth one but I want to be unique, reasons why I said serum.
Thank you! If the questions isn't detailed enough to answer, ask questions and I'll be happy to answer them for your answer to mine.
