Hey all, I've been unsuccessfully trying to find out how Madeon makes his music sound so full without sounding muddy. When I listen to his music, I can hear so many different types of instruments and sounds in the background that coalesce into a amazingly intricate and warm composition. However, whenever I try to do something similar, my mixes always end up very muddy even though I try to make sure my instruments occupy different frequencies (though admittedly, I'm not good at mixing/mastering). Are there any producers more experienced that would help illuminate the mystery to his sound? More specifically, how he gets his instruments sounding so sharp, yet harmonious?
