I've been producing for 2 years now. my main DAW for the last year is Ableton live. I basically create Dubstep/Riddim tracks but I also create some Melodic Dubstep and sometimes even Future Bass. I am still struggling with the creation of new tracks/melodies. I can only create stuff when I'm inspired enough.
How do you guys come up with ideas when you have no inspiration. Or do you only create tracks when you feel inspired enough, and how do you achieve this 'inspired state'?
I also want to mention that I have never gained any music education. Could that be a reason of me not being able to achieve a decent workflow?
